Terms

Last updated: June 15, 2026

ContextNode provides prompt organization, discovery, reusable prompt templates, workflows, cloud sync, public catalog pages, and a browser extension for supported AI chat surfaces. By using ContextNode, you agree to use the product responsibly and only for lawful purposes.

Accounts And Access

You are responsible for the activity that occurs through your account and for keeping your authentication credentials secure. Do not share access tokens, attempt to bypass authentication controls, or use another user's account without permission.

ContextNode may suspend or restrict access when needed to protect the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, or prevent harm to other users or systems.

Your Content

Prompt content, workflow content, selected text saved as a prompt, folders, tags, collections, and related metadata remain the responsibility of the user or workspace that creates them. Do not upload, save, publish, or sync content you are not permitted to store, process, or share.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant ContextNode the limited permission needed to store, process, display, transmit, sync, back up, and otherwise operate that content for the features you choose to use. This includes displaying public prompts, public workflows, and public collections when you mark them public.

Public Sharing

Public prompts, collections, workflows, articles, and catalog entries may be visible to visitors and search engines. Review content before marking it public. Do not publish secrets, private credentials, confidential business information, or personal data unless you have the rights and consent required to do so.

ContextNode may remove or unpublish public content that appears abusive, unlawful, misleading, infringing, unsafe, spammy, or inconsistent with the product's purpose.

Extension And Third-Party Services

The browser extension can read from and write to supported AI chat composer surfaces when you use prompt insertion, append, send, workflow, shortcut, copy, or save-selection features. You are responsible for reviewing any prompt text before sending it to a third-party service.

Supported AI chat services, browsers, app stores, payment providers, identity providers, hosting providers, and other third-party services are not operated by ContextNode. Their own terms, privacy policies, limits, and content rules apply.

Acceptable Use

Do not use ContextNode to violate the law, infringe intellectual property rights, distribute malware, exfiltrate data, harass others, deceive users, interfere with service operation, scrape or overload the hosted service, reverse engineer protected service components, or publish content that you do not have the right to share.

Do not store real secrets, production credentials, private keys, access tokens, or regulated data in prompts unless you fully understand and accept the risk and have the legal authority to process that data.

Availability And Changes

ContextNode is provided as an evolving product. Features, supported surfaces, cloud sync behavior, public discovery, storage limits, pricing, and availability may change over time. The service may be interrupted, delayed, or unavailable during maintenance, incidents, or third-party outages.

Continued use of ContextNode after terms are updated means accepting the current terms for the running version of the product.

Warranty And Liability

ContextNode is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free behavior, fitness for a particular purpose, or suitability for high-risk uses. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating prompts and workflows before relying on their output.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContextNode is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost business, or third-party service decisions arising from your use of the product.
